Course Description
The 48-hour Paramedic Refresher Course is a review of the skills and knowledge covered in the EMT-Paramedic Course. The Paramedic Refresher Course meets Category one hours required for re-certification for the National Registry and is approved by Commonwealth of Virginia OEMS.
We use the Paramedic Refresher Course as a vehicle to inform participants of changes in emergency care such as new equipment, current science updates from the American Heart Association, and cutting edge technology. Please contact our office should you have any further questions.
This course will provide the student with ACLS Renewal, PALS Renewal, ITLS , and ACLS-EP Certification. This program may be taken to complete National Registry and State of Virginia required hours for recertification at the EMT-Intermediate and Paramedic level certifications
Textbooks for the Paramedic Refresher certification programs are at an additional charge. Please contact our office for more information on textbooks. NMS reserves the right to change the certification course offered during this program
